Lesson 1 – The Facts and The Fiction of Back Labor
It is a common assumption that back labor is caused by a baby being “malpositioned,”, particularly when in a posterior position. However, research tells us that a baby’s position is only one possible factor that may lead to back pain during labor.
Lesson 2 – The Fundamentals of Support for Clients with Back Labor
This course equips learners with an understanding of the various causes of back pain during labor and provides evidence-based information on the possible delivery complications associated. Additionally, learners will obtain the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional support to those experiencing back pain during labor.
